We offer continuing support that will help you succeed with
your health and weight management goals–all overseen by
a physician to assure your safety and that you are appropriately
achieving your health goals.
Comprehensive Fitness Evaluation
Receive an in-depth evaluation and consultation with an exercise
physiologist, including a customized exercise program to meet
your health and weight management goals. Also includes a VO2
max test with your treadmill stress test, which is the gold-standard
for measuring your current fitness level and physiologic age.
Personal Training Sessions
Receive hourly personal training sessions with an exercise physiologist.
Training is available at Optimal Health Center or at your location.
OHC Weight Loss Program
Go beyond the myths promoted for weight loss with our OHC program
that has been proven to work long-term. You will receive:
- 1-hour
physician consult, and a 30 minute physician follow up visit
- 4 measures with bio-electrical impedance
of body fat mass, lean mass to confirm that you aren’t
just losing weight but that you are losing fat and gaining
muscle at the same time
- 2
measures with OHC’s VO2Max testing system to determine
your actual resting metabolic rate increases over time to
help you burn calories
- 4 one-on-one training sessions with one of our
exercise physiologists
- 2
nutrition consults with our nutritionists including initially
with a 3-day computerized food analysis and a detailed
plan to meet your nutritional needs while you lose weight
- An optimal,
customized supplement plan
- Follow up phone calls for
support
Quarterly Nutrition Follow-up
Keep tabs on your nutritional goals by receiving a food diary
analysis and 30-minute nutrition consultation with a physician-nutritionist.
Comprehensive Nutrition and Supplement Assessment
Receive a customized nutrition and supplement plan designed
to improve your health and reduce your risk for disease. You
will receive:
- Computer analysis of three-day food diary
- Lab test measuring anemia,
iron deficiency, calcium, liver function, homocysteine,
cholesterol, blood sugar level and hemoglobin
- Vital
signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) and body composition
measurements
- One-hour consultation with board-certified physician-nutritionist
to review health history, current dietary, supplement,
and medication intake
- Customized nutrition and supplement plan
Cardiovascular Risk Assessment and Therapy Plan
This is a detailed
evaluation of your risk for heart attack and stroke, combined
with an action plan to stop or reverse
arterial
plaque growth. You will receive the following:
- 1-hour physician
consult
- Advanced laboratory testing (including
advanced lipid profile - VAP, hs-CRP, homocysteine, full
chemistry profile
- Carotid IMT (ultrasound
artery thickness test)
- Optional VO2Max
Stress Treadmill Test with your Cardiovascular Assessment available
